Situation On the morning of the bombing, he left Kure at 6am and arrived in Hiroshima at 8am. He was on a streetcar traveling near Hachobori when the bomb was dropped. There was a golden light that filled his entire view, and this is the last thing he remembered before he lost consciousness. When he came to, he was outside of the streetcar. He rushed to jump into the firefighting water. He returned to Kure on a truck for the injured, and suffered with diarrhea and other symptoms after that.
